This past weekend I was able to spend time with fellow store owners and lots of terrific vendors at the Collins Group Spring Show for Retailers. I was inspired by so many terrific classes and workshops, as were Lisa and Carol. We can't wait to share all that we've learned with you!
I spent many hours with Charee and Sean from Graphic 45 and I enjoyed every minute! We completed one fabulous project, an album featuring Tropical Travelogue.
The other project is a special sign for the store featuring Curiousity Shoppe. I am not quite done, but watch for it soon.
Meanwhile, here are some great project samples from G45's booth:
Below I'm hanging with Karen Burniston of Sizzix. She makes the most amazing Pop n' Cuts Dies for cards, and her passion for paper engineering is catching! They are "simple, interchangeable and coordinated!" Check out one of her videos here and a sample of one of her cards below. Lisa and I are really excited about them because all the Movers and Shapers dies we already own will fit in the pop up card die. They should be arriving at the store mid-April.
I also took classes with Hero Arts and Bo Bunny, Elizabeth Craft Designs, 7 Gypsies, Canvas Corp, Copic Marker, Creative Imaginations and Cheryl Mezzetti... the list goes on and on! Stop by the store and see my projects... some are still works in progress, but I know you'll be inspired.
Jackie and I also took classes at a different retailer show in York, PA about two weeks ago. Jackie and I are teaching this Friday night using techniques we learned from our class with Stampendous - the products all arrived today! Meanwhile, here are some beautiful samples by Stampendous that caught our eye.
More soon - gotta go finish the newsletter!
